Getting there

The Plan
We start with a plan. Not just any plan. This is your plan - a personal map to a better future. Our staff will work with you to set goals and develop your own career plan. We will teach you important computer skills that many jobs now require. You will learn how to build a resume, search for a job, slam dunk the interview and it all starts the day you arrive.

The Education
Didn't finish high school? Thinking about college? Job Corps offers the academic training you need to succeed - in the workplace and the classroom. Train for a careeer and earn your high school diploma or GED at the same time.

The Training
So you want to be a mechanic? A nurse? A chef? Job Corps can show you the way. Learn from professionals in your chosen field. Gain experience through internships and projects with local businesses. Job Corps offers hands-on training in more than 60 career areas.

The Support
Once you graduate, Job Corps will help you find a job and make the transition to the working world. Problems at work? Need help finding transportation or housing? Job Corps will stay in touch with you for a full year after your first day on the job.
